Managed to steal a day out after getting our house sale done. With the perfect weather and renewal time I figured it would be fun at least. You gotta like fishing in a t-shirt April 1 while a good part of the rest of the country is still frozen.
Started up at the old Ranger run and worked down to the prison.First few casts delivered a fiesty wild rainbow on a Jensen egg.Released of course.Very light numbers of others fishing as expected. No fish in the upper for me but I saw one hatchery retained and a small wild released early on.Moved on to lower lower at Lickman.Same results however, sure was a spectacular day though.
