Title: Rice Lake
Post by: Fish Assassin on April 01, 2014, 10:45:24 AM
Heads up to anyone planning to fish Rice Lake. There are signs at the entrance and throughout the lake that fishing on odd number days are now restricted to fishermen with their addresses ending in odd numbers. Fishermen with even number addresses can only fish on even numbered days.

Spoke to the gatekeeper who advise the regulations were implemented because of severe overcrowding. It is hope that the new regulations will alleviate this problem. The project will be evaluated after six months. If successful, it may be implemented in selected lakes throughout the province.

PS fishing was very slow this morning.

Great post, thanks for giving everyone a heads up  ;D

Also, I live under a rock so I don't think this address restriction would apply to me

I was told that within the first 4 weeks after any lake has been stocked, only women and children are allowed.  Men are allowed only if they dress as women.

Ian can invite some of his Thai "lady" friends.
