Fisher you have a lot of nerve saying as you and Adanac would whack your own shoes if i didn't stop you. :P

I have been told that they smoke well. I have yet to try it. I also know people from the east who have eaten them, thinking that they were white fish, the only complaint was "TOOOO Many Bones". That poor man's lobster recipe Rod is pitching might be good bet too!
-
They taste OK, but bone removal will try your patience. Maybe puree them in a blender, bones and all, and eat them as a milkshake. ;D
-
cook them the way you'd cook bullheads and ratfish ;D :-X
-
anyone tried canning them? ???
-
for anyone that is concerned with their K9's diet...they do make good dog food. I used to keep pike minnows and chub for that purpose. Meat grind them, and feed them to the pooch. He's a newfie, so he will eat anything fish related.
