Title: Chilliwack River, December 17th 2013
Post by: dave c on December 18, 2013, 12:00:52 AM
Tried my luck today. Had entire run to myself. Worked it meticulously top to bottom. Only thing i had to show for my efforts was two lost jigs and one lost drennan.  Sob   :'(  Hoping for better luck tomorrow.

You fish only one run? Your chances will increase if you cover more water. 8)

I fish my fav runs twice, once with artificials then with bait. Mostly just make three casts a section and move down a little.

usually whatever song is stuck in my head that day is how long I spend on that section and move down. its a weird way to scale but it works for me

Limited time yesterday.  Fished mid river today.  Pounded four runs.... nada.... on the bright side bumped into a fellow leaf fan Chris Gadsden today.  Had a nice chat.

Good to meet you as well Dave c, you left nothing behind except found a few floats. Also added some beer tins to ones I found on an earlier hike. Also 2 full ones. ;D Day was not a waste as got 2 nice mallards on the morning flight even though I shot poorly missing 7 other shots. :-X

Will not be long to the first steelhead takes the Maple Leaf Drennan down.
