From what I've been able to determine, the originators of the Declaration have simply Had It with those members of another band (Ahousaht) shooting FAR too many animals in this region to be sustainable, and doing so without Their Explicit Permission. Interesting turn of events. It will be damn interesting to see how this unfolds down the road...
