what type of lures would work really well, or other types of ways to fish this place. I'd be below the highway.
-
I could tell you the absolute top secret thing to use where you get a fish EVERY CAST. But then everyone would know and fishing would no longer be called fishing, but renamed "catching" instead.
-
Too much work to only be allowed go keep 1 fish. Also fishing doesn't start on the Ksnaka till Nov 1st to the end of the month.

What I'm saying is go out there and fish, it is called fishing.

This guy is an obvious troll. Anyone who doesn't see this is a fool. Just look at he bodies of waters he is talking about on the forum. I sure hope Rod just bans him and does it soon

Why would asking about the Kanaka get someone banned? Why not explain how it is a small urban stream that can not handle a lot of pressure.
-
hey, I'm just trying to get some information on these water bodies. If it's a good idea to go fish the waterbodies or if its just a waste of time. Just because of the Pitt river argument doesn't mean you have to try and complain to me and try to get me banned, so please just lay off.

How is it you ask about places that no one talks about on the net? What next? Silver creek maybe... :o
-
Lots of snags too.

I don't know, just like to explore diferrent places then others, and how deep does it get
-
Reading the regulations, then going out and fishing new places is exploring. This thread is not considered as an exploration.
It's never a waste of time to go out.
-
okay, your right, but it came out wrong, what I meant is that I like to get reviews and feedback from people who fished it so I can see if it's a good idea to go out

Ok if your a troll or not here is some advice. The systems you are talking about don't have great runs of fish. They are systems that people just don't talk about on an open forum. If you do a search on this forum for these systems you will find very little information and for good reason.
If you insist on fishing any of these waters you are asking about check the regulations before hand and find out how the fishing is on your own but nobody wants to hear about your findings

How many years have you fished the Kanaka?
-
I don't mind if a river doesn't have a good run of fish. Lol it's more about being there and having fun , also it's not about catching to haha well for me ;))
Personally I like fishing little creeks and streams well not little with no water but you do get the point .
-
It's a skunk show out there. Just garbage, snags everywhere, no fish and your car will probably get broken into.
Also, bears.
-
why even ask if your only going to fish below the highway ?
drive down there and take the 2minute walk to the Fraser and fish the river mouth instead. Fish tend to circle into river mouths to get out of the muddy water for a bit. I have tried my luck along several creek mouths on the Fraser before and some days can do quite well.
I have fished Kanaka before and honestly its a waste of time probably 99% of the time. Mouth of the Coquitlam is also worth a look.
I don't mind talking about fishing the Fraser trib mouths but if you want info on fishing the smaller rivers themselves then you probably wont get much if anything

thanks for all the usefull tips! :)
