Title: Good spots for Chum at this time of year?

Post by: Humpy on October 21, 2013, 09:42:14 PM: Or even the Vedder, there's decent numbers of chum there, and there is a greater number of coho in the vedder. You would need a boat for the Harrison but if you are willing to do a bit of a hike, stave is okay.

By catch when bar rigging for coho.

Using a Colorado blade for coho with 8 lb mono on the reel.

Lots of chum around today but not many coho biting.

I got similar size chum on my second cast on jig two weeks ago. I can not believe that it can be so big. I also check Internet . Actual word record is 45pounds.
36pounds is IGFA record

One day you will get one. Originally, I was thinking that it is a huge spring. It was jumping a few times. Only close to shore I realize that it is chum. Too bad I didn't have camera.
