Would be happy to share a table with you Mike :) If I recall a table is $20, perhaps less if a member of the FVSS

Looks like Nov. 9 again at Carman United Church, $15 a table or $ 25 if a non member. Extra $10 gives you a membership. Trying to keep away from sharing tables as the rate is very cheap and we have some expenses to meet.
I was given a budget at our meeting tonight.

More details to follow.

Chris, you've said twice in previous posts that you're "looking" at the Nov 9. Has that date been confirmed now? If so, I have some unfortunate events to plan around so that I can attend.

Thanks!

Is there an entry fee for those who want to attend in order to do some shopping for new gear?

Title: FRASER VALLEY SALMON SOCIETY 'fishing tackle buy and sell gathering'
Post by: flyrod on October 31, 2013, 11:39:25 AM
One more push for this upcoming event November 9, Saturday, 8:30 am until 1:00 pm @ Carman United Church 7258 Vedder Road Chilliwack, Sardis side.  You can rent a table or more for members $15.00 non members $25.00 per table.  There is usually food being sold from the kitchen.
Spread the word around as this is a great opportunity to pick up some good quality fishing gear and equipment.  Parents bring your children and get them connected to the fishing community; best investment you can make for your child/teens future lifestyle.
Get your table purchased through Nick Basok at Chilliwack Dart and Tackle or Chris Gadsden on this forum.  Rod

Is this a worth while sale to come to. I'm just getting back into fishing. Fishing mostly trout and bass. Would there be stuff for this types of fishing? Or is it mostly salmon gear?

Was a good turnout today with a large crowd searching for tackle of all sorts from the 17 tables. The sellers I spoke to seemed happy with the sales they made and the buyers happy with their purchases.

Thanks from the Fraser Valley Salmon Society to all from this forum that sold and others that came and supported our third annual sale, it was good to meet many of you too and I believe it was a record turnout all around.

It was a bit stressful for me today, not so much organizing the sale but as I was getting a coffee earlier in the day at McDonald's the Leaf Mobile would not back up from it parking spot. As I was against the curb  I had to call fro a tow truck, thanks to BCAA. ;D

So for the rest of the day I had to make sure I did not park anywhere where I had to back up as going ahead was fine. :'( Glad it did not happen on my recent hunting trips. Not sure how serious it is until I take it to Dr. Ernie.

I do not think I sold enough Maple Leaf Drennans to pay for the repairs.

Pictures of the sale up on the FVSS FB page later.
