I have a 11' Talon. Nice rod to be battling large chinooks.

Talon rods are as tough as nails.  Way back when I used to bottom bounce, I used my 11 foot 3 Takon which was rated at 8-17lb to toss 3 to 4 ounce betties and not once did I feel that it was going to break.  Used it for well over 5 years.  Now it sits on my rod rack, only using it when I float fish for springs on the Vedder which I rarely do.
