Can I keep Cutthroat and Bull trout from Gary Point? I am aware of the salmon regulations, just wondering if all other fish caught here are catch and release.
thanks

So from reading area 11-29 regs, under trout it states " Retention of hatchery marked fish only. No retention of wild fish south of Cape Caution. Minimum length is 30 cm."
The only hatchery fish that are not salmon that I know of are Cutthroat, Steelhead, brown and Dolly varden ... are there any hatchery marked bull trout?

There are no hatchery bull trout and dolly varden. There are definitely no brown trout.

Gee Rodney, I've seen some pretty brown Chum salmon. Some of those old Chinooks are often black and brown as well. :D ;)
