Went out on morning tide. Was lucky enough to pick up 2 does (one on spinner, one on jig). Lost one other. Caught a beauty buck chrome coho about 8lbs. The guy fishing beside me insisted it was a spring. I tried to educate him on how to tell the difference, but either he was ingnorant or just plain stupid because he wouldn't listen to reason. Just as I was preparing to release it he asked if he could have it. I laughed and said "not a chance" then released the fish. I guess buddy didn't like me laughing because he immediately turned into an absolute moron, rifling derogetory comments my way, purposely cast over top of me a couple times. Briefly considered sending him to the moon on a one way knuckle sandwich, then thought better of it packed up and left. Several other guys were into fish as well, but the ratio of rollers to hook-ups certainly wasn't great. Good luck guys.

Rod I'm quite sure the word i used after absolute is not profanity. I'm not quite sure why it was edited.

Love it, better than in your belly for sure.
Same thing happend in Haney tonight bout a 5 pound hatch, onlookers were apalled of the release.
But the kid from Hatch N' Match in Maple Ridge knew his stuff and gave her a non docking and a gentle release.

tks Dion. Not a problem its just that i used a word that starts with a m ends with an n and has two o's and a r in the middle. It is in the dictionary meaning one without intelligence or manners. Just couldn't understand the editing. All is good thanks

Sorry Dave, we've just been having some fun With the moderation to ease the tension around here sometimes. ;D
Too bad about the encounter though. The poor behaviour of some people out there is beyond baffling...

Thanks Rod. Not a problem really! It just confused me. And yes there are some strange people out there. As a result of my wife's pleading I am trying to turn the other cheek to alot of the undesireable behaviour out there, as quite often I'd come home from a day on the river just fuming at some of the things I witnessed. She reminded me that I go fishing for the enjoyment, and that getting angry is counterproductive. Man I hate it when she is right. LOL
