Hi,
3 of my friends are visiting from Europe, with the sole purpose of fishing.
They don't have salmon at home, so of course they will give a go the salmon fishery.
They are also very interested in trout, and I am not too sure of the best water to send them.
they are arriving in a week.
I need advice on where I should send them.
The option that I though about were
- skagit river in Hope
- upper squamish river
- soo river
Could anybody comment on these location, or give me other options, within 4h drive from Vancouver?
they are particularly interested in bull trout as it is not a native specie at home.
Appreciate your help
David

I love the skagit. Haven't been back for just over a month, but last time I was there, it was gorgeous as usual, and the rainbows were loving the dry flies. Some nice sized bulls in there too. I don't have a lot of history on the river, but from what I've gathered is that the population of bulls seems to have increased. Would be a good option for sure.

How is the shore access?
do you need a 4wd to get there?

Upper Pitt river has big bulls but u need a boat or charter. Got 2 dollies in squam but too many gross pinks in there right now
