Had a few hours to kill and hit up Brownsville Bar today. Tide was great, quite a few people trying their hand and tossing the gear...nada across the board in the 2 hours I was there (between 3PM and 5PM). The odd riser was seen behind the Skytrain cement pillar and didn't see one fish hooked.

I fished from 3:30 til 7 landed 1 doe at 4oclock then that's it. Bight was off, 2 other guys got 1 each. So 3 fish between 15 guys in 3 hours. I heard commercial is opening all week.......

Fished at no 3 rd off the rocks from 4:30 - 6:30..not even a tap and never saw a fish hooked by anyone.

Fished in Ruchmond from 6:00 to 7:15 pm for the high slack tide. Saw two fish landed on gear. Bounced my fly off at least one nose but no takers. The fish look kinda dark.

I have been fishing at the New West docks for the past few nights and its been dead slow too. almost no bites, and almost no sign of fish movement.
where is this supposed onslaught of pink salmon?..
-
Dead last night for us as well...dead Mon. as well and we flogged it for 7 hours with 1 jack coho to show for our efforts.

The onslaught is in the nets of the natives/commercial nets.

We went out to Duncan Bar last night for 2 hours and slayed them, well I slayed Pike Minnows, no Pinks. Largest Pike Minnow was 14" long and was a nice little fight on the fly rod. Saw two small does caught by a guy down from me, he was standing armpit deep and casting way out and reeling fast.

Was fishing in Surrey area for 2.5 hours in evening. Hooked one, and saw 2 landed on Surrey Dock among dozens of rods. We have an onslaught of pinks in the nets for sure.

Strange day.
I spent a couple hours along river road. A few rollers seen, but no big wave.
I saw a few guys in boats and about a dozen guys along the shore. I saw ZERO caught.
Meanwhile my friend out dino fishing near the tidal boundary limited out on pinks in his boat, 20 fish on jigs. Before putting the lines down for the dinos.

Is there anywhere to launch a tinny in Langley? Fort Langley, Derby Reach, Brae Island?
-
Fort Langley has a launch, go down Glover to Mavis, make a right then a left on Church. Not much parking though. Good luck. There is also a nice ramp over on Brae Island on the reservation but it is $25.00 to launch and park.
-
$25?! Eeks.
-
Yup it is steep but if you are going to launch on the Fraser a lot you can get a yearly pass for $250.00, I think I might do that for next year. Nice a nd close to home, nice ramp, but no dock. I would spend $25 in gas driving to Mission to launch. Heck I have paid up to $29 to launch my little Boston Whaler.
