Title: Help with spinners
Post by: LP89CG on September 03, 2013, 10:27:56 AM
Made myself a bunch of spin lures with a #3 blade. chucked them in the river yesterday and sometimes the blade wouldn't spin.

Im wondering if the clevis is too small and not allowing the blade to extend out enough?

going out to buy larger clevis to see but I'd rather know if it's a different problem before I go.

Thanks

I have been making my own spinners for quite a few years now. I would be happy to help you out.

Can you upload a photo so I can have a look?

I will upload a photo ASAP and appreciate any help.

ASAP means 11pm tonight... :( (working)

The blade would spin it seemed if I reeled it in super fast... It would probably snag one before it catches one. ..
