Title: Government Wharfs on Sea-to-Sky? Interested in Crab Fishing
Post by: Joe the Soccer Coach on August 26, 2013, 09:08:30 AM
Hello Everyone,

Just recently went up the Sea-to-Sky and did some salmon fishing near Squamish, and I was wondering if there are any government docks/wharves (or any docks that allow) that I can throw a few traps off to catch some crabs.  Anyone have some tips, suggestions or guidance.  Thanks.

Best of luck fishing!

Joe

To my knowledge, there seems to be no public fishing docks along Sea to Sky highway.
The closest one is probably Ambleside park in West Vancouver.
From shore, semi-circle traps would work the best.

Pretty sure there are pollution as well as conservation concerns throughout that area. Be safe!
