I noticed this morning there have been some gill nets set up on the Vedder sometime last night. Might be the reason the fishing was so hot.

They are getting a three day window but that is not until next week and should not be in the open fishing section of the river.

In my opinion, when a native net opening is being considered, their compliance to not net when prohibited should be taken into consideration.

Don't worry about an opening for rec anglers, we will all be able to buy cheap ceremonial sockeye on the side of the road real soon.
