Went to the Cap after work. The lower river is not very promising with the low tide and with the river a bit low, I headed to the upper river pools. Not my favourite spots as they are crowded even for the evening. But since I don't know any mid river spots, I just tried out the upper pools. Still not a lot of fish schooling around like last year. The odd fish is caught by the fly guys once in a long while. Hope the heavy rain will come to bring more fish up river.
