Title: Capilano River, June 6th 2013
Post by: hotrod on June 06, 2013, 10:11:28 PM
Well, it was another day of very few cohos on the move! Spent a couple hours out there and all I got was a nice sunburn! Saw a few finning around down below but they weren't making a move upriver at all. A couple seals hot on there tails had them all spooked! When this starts to happen those chromies tend to change their pattern as to when they come up. Generally when there are seals around they like to come up on the lower tides to keep them off their bluebacks! But then again........... You just have to there at the right time!

I hate seals zeroing on fish trapped at the river mouth. It is like a turkey shoot for them. Not fair for the fish. Perhaps some one throw some rocks at them to scare them off.  ;)
