Title: looking for boat rope
Post by: Island 22 Horses on June 03, 2013, 11:16:19 PM
Hi guys
I am looking for that big fat rope that fisherman use to tie theirs boats up. I need lots of it. Used is perfect.
I am holding a non horse event at the park as a huge fundraiser for the park and need to have people climbing ropes.  ;D
Gonna be fun.
But I am having a heck of a time finding used rope or even donated rope.
Can any of you point me in the right direction?
Thanks TONS!  :D

I have lots of 1/2" double braided nylon rope. But it's new and I'd have to sell it at $0.60/ft to make my money back.

Saw some large rope (2"?) at the government auction location in Surrey - looked like it was dock line for a large ship.

Their number is (604) 501-8216
