Post by: Verdi on June 02, 2013, 09:50:11 AM
Is there any way to get the charts to show the fishing area you are in?
fishing off tharasher the other day and went to fill out the cactch data and had no idea if i was are 17 or 29..
i have the gold pack do i need the platinum?
Navionics should have it,  the maps in the regulations book are very rough and hard to reference land points

I have tried and even talked to a Navionics Rep at the boat show with little success. The only way I can get it is to plot in a multi-destination route on my GPS. I fish off-shore out of Pt. Renfrew and there is a rather large no fishing zone out there. I plot the 4 waypoints on my GPS, save it as a "Route" and that way I know (or whomever is at the helm while trolling) exactly where the borders are (fishing zones and the USA).
