Title: Lower Mainland Lake May 23rd
Post by: Britguy on May 23, 2013, 08:59:51 PM
I went out with my fat cat and fly gear today
got a few hits at first but could not hook them (black leech)
changed up my fly to a muddler and started to hook fish, then it dropped off so i changed to a green wooly bugger trying all the hots spots that i knew of and found where the fish were
i tried sink tip and full sink, and the full sink stripped did best

at around 4pm they stocked the lake with 700 fish, some good sized ones too
I will be out there again in the morning to see if those fish have settled and are looking for food ;)
It's time to hit those local lakes guys and girls, i believe a few of them got stocked recently
i was the only one on the water for most of the day and then only joined buy two guys in a boat

Yep. Lafarge, Como, Rice and Green Timbers were stocked today. Fishing pressure looked very light at Lafarge this afternoon.
