Title: Harrison Resort Area
Post by: fishingbuddha on May 21, 2013, 01:16:59 PM
Heading up to the Resort this weekend and taking the boat. Anyone know how the sturgeon fishing is at Harrison River/Kilby area and any tips?

Also might go cutty fishing so if you have any tips would appreciate it.

not sure about the sturgeon but if you are going after cutties be prepared to move around.  Look for feeding fish and cast minnow patterns to them, epoxies, muddlers, mickey finns, etc.  If the fish appear to move away, do not abandon the spot immediately as the schools will often move in a circle pattern and may reappear shortly.  If not, anchor up an search again.
