Im thinking of buying a blast 12v pump to inflate my pontoon boat. Has anyone had any experience with these?Thx

How much is that sucker going to set you back? I use a cheapo 12 volt pump to quick fill, and a dual action to bring it up to stiffness. A lot of those pumps will not make your toon stiff enough.

Ya the cost is why I asked if others have used it.105.00. I had a similar pump called an lvm it put my 8 ft pontoons up in about 2min each. I did have to finish them off with hand pump.

Canadian tire has 120v car converters for 7 bucks on sale.

you can use a regular 12V air mattess pump to do your pontoon. the trick is that you will need something stuck in the end of the nozzle on the pump in order to hold the valve open a little on your pontoon bladders otherwise they dont have enough power to force the air inside. Then you just use a few pumps to stiffen them up. when you remove the pump nozzle your bladder valve will shut itself obviously which is why it needs to be taped or something to the inside of the nozzle.

Thx for the info.I will look at those options
