Went out into the early morning fog with Leon from http://www.tofinofishing.com/ about 10 miles west of Tofino and managed to bring back 4 chinook (daily limit) and 1 halibut between the two of us in three hours. Biggest salmon was 22 lbs caught by my gf (her first salmon off a boat) with the others around 12 to 14 lbs. Halibut was 'only' 12 lbs.
The fish were on the bottom at a depth of about 150 feet with an army truck and coho killer getting all the hits.
