Saw this video on another site. Has to do with Atlantic salmon, but it illustrates the proper way to catch and release a salmon, and why. Definitely puts to shame some fisherman and their fish handling skills on the lower mainland - especially on the Vedder River.

Excellent video and beautiful fish. At the start of the video they mention threats to wild salmon populations, including fish farms. So, on the East Coast too! What a shame that these blights on our glorious oceans and threats to our magnificent wild fish populations haven't been consigned to the oblivion they so richly deserve.
