Title: Buntzen Lake, April 3rd 2013
Post by: jimmywits on April 04, 2013, 10:15:48 AM
Went up to Buntzen yesterday and the fishing was slow to start, but picked up after noon.
I was having most success with my slime line with a brown wooly bugger, and my type three sinker with a wooly worm. Tried some dry fly to know avail as I could not even see what the occasional rise was targeting, no chironomid sacs etc..
The fish are definatly getting familiar with real food. I spent the whole time I was there up the southern channel.
