Title: old fenwick grey graphite 1262
Post by: river walker on February 09, 2013, 07:18:11 AM
I recently acquired A few of these rods in pin configuration. From blanks. I was wondering someone could give me any history on them. I know they are very rare to have brand new ones. These say Fenwick made in USA matrix graphiteThe color of the blank is gray.

I had one of those blanks and what happened to it is that  the top split at the ferrel. I caught a lot of fish with that rod both fresh and salt. It even made a trip to Alaska. I rode that rod hard and it lasted me about ten yrs. This blank makes a great center-pin rod. If you want to part with one let me know.
