went to the slough today, close to the norrish creek confluence. didnot really expect to catch anything. was just noodling around with my spinning rod. wantet to see if i could use it for short floating. was actually not to bad. i was hoping to hook into one of those elusive steelhead. small run supposevly going up there. wasnot that lucky. snagged my jig and lost it. found however two almost new dne floats and apair of new pliers just in the mud there. i saw a few bald eagles and some other wildlife. pretty cool. on the way back i managed to catch a nice size cutty with a small blue fox spinner. also managed to collect half a bag of beer cans and garbage outa there. so overall not a bad day. just nice to get out there. cheers
