Hit the river just before 7:00 am. It was pouring at Lickman at that time so I sat in the car for 10 minutes at which time it stopped raining. Drift fished jigs on the upriver side for about 1 1/2 hours with no luck. One guy said he had caught a wild earlier. Headed down to the Yarrow side of the drag line run. Fished down stream of Community Road with prawns. No one else on my side but a few guys on the other did mot see any fish taken. Left about noon fishless. Weather was not bad just a few showers, no wind and quite warn for this time of year. Hit two traffic problems on the way back to North Van which made the trip upward of 2 hours.

I fished downstream from Likman and rolled one first thing in the morning. Mid afternoon changed location to above crossing and managed a nice 12lb hen. Water had about 2 ft visibility above crossing when I left at 3:00pm. A couple of guys above me hit fish all at the same time so I guess a small bump of fish were moving through. Not much rain through out the day. Good day to be on the flow. Cheers. ( Hope I didn't hijack )
