Fished the Vedder yesterday. Water was in great shape. About 18" of visibility. Lots of anglers but lots of great water to fish. I hit the lower river first thing in the morning with no luck and only saw one wild fish hooked and nicely released. Moved to the upper river in the afternoon and hooked a nice 14lbs wild buck that was put in the tube for the hatchery, got him on a wool and prawn combo. About an hour later I was rewarded with a beautiful 12.4lbs hatchery doe. Great day out there.
