New to boating , do I need to winterize my boat if I live in van? I have a 2 stroke with a jet leg

i would just for peace of mind. it is very easy. add fuel stabilizer to the fuel and spray some wd40 into the carb while cranking it over (disconnect coil) so it coats the parts so they don't rust. as for the jet someone else will have to chime in because i have a inboard/outboard.

Fuel stabilizer can't hurt and is probably a great way to go, personally I've always just ran my motor out of gas and store it in my shop then tarp the hell out of the boat and coupling and she's never failed me yet. This year I actually put my boat trailer on jacks so as to give the wheels and tires a rest.

Best idea though is to keep using it through the winter and go fishing more. ;)

Depends where you store it. Outside yes, inside a heated garage then no.

Because of E 10 fuel do make sure ya do winterize.

Check out the web as it has lots of info.
Type in something like :  outboards & E 10 fuel problem(s) in a google search & something should pop up.
