Title: Squamish River, November 9th 2012
Post by: Dogbreath on November 09, 2012, 06:30:01 PM
Fished the Big Bend area today- a decent number of fish passing through all quite coloured up.

The river was shockingly clear when I arrived @ first light but clouded up as the day passed.

Pale Pink wool worked well and when I ran out of that the water was getting murkier I switched to my Go To Rig-a thumbnail sized chunk of Hot Pink and Hot Orange combined-both colours were being slammed hard all day.

Lots of big Does the largest had to be an easy 10# which is big for that system.

No sign of any Coho but that's not what I was after-stopped targeting Coho long ago when the numbers dropped through the floor.

The only down part of the day was falling hard on the rocks luckily from a sitting position (don't ask) and I really started to feel it on the way back but OTOH that's what Ibuprofen is for.
