Title: Cuba - Bonefish, Tarpon, etc in Zapata National Park
Post by: Damien on November 05, 2012, 05:25:27 PM
Has anyone fished this area with a charter?  Any best practices to share?  Any guide recommendations?

I am only down for a day trip, and most places I see online have full room/board/charter services for 5-7 excursions.  I am just wanting to spend one day on the water, 'commuting' in from Varadero for the day.

Any experiences to share would be welcome.

Cheers,

D.

Never been, but see if the guys at country pleasures in Calgary can put you on track. Last time I was there (over 2 years ago) they were guiding trips down there IIRC.

Thanks for the tip.  Unfortunately they only help arrange full fishing vacations, in a different part of the country.
