Title: Tidal Fraser River, October 17th 2012
Post by: bbronswyk2000 on October 17, 2012, 06:48:39 PM
Been fishing this area for a while now with one bite in about 5 outings. Well today was better, one landed and two lost.

Healthy looking catch for sure. Just returned from my fourth outing at mid river fraser spot myself and becoming a bit more optimistic as seeing "some" surface action finally. Had no takers but should start soon and have to work tides that are not so much in my favour in short term.
If I may ask vaguely ...... bait or lures for your success ?

Thanks for the report I was planning on going out with spinners and spoons this weekend.  What's your rod set up you're using on the Fraser?

Spinners for me as well right now although I threw a croc on to get some real distance on some risers out further but no takers. I will keep plunking for the next few weeks for sure. Thx
