Was looking on internet and came across a link for making Hot glue eggs. They looked great and i thought that would be a great idea for bait ban streams/rivers (as long as there is no scent am i right?) Anybody here have experience with them i made a few not as easy as it looks as the glue doesnt allow for that many mess ups and if u let it harden its a nuisance to take off! (but great for fish not being able to take em off) . Posted some of the rather CRUDE egg clusters i made, didnt have coloured glue so a little nail polish did the trick actually; i liked the sheen and little imperfections it gave it.
{P.S. i know the hooks have barbs on them still!}

Looks like you did a pretty decent job there.
I too have seen those made before, however never used or seen them used.
I wonder if having that hard mass on the shank would affect the hook set or not?

I pulled them up and secured them as far up as they go after to maximize the gap between shank and hook. Wouldnt think it would be any different than how a corky or bead sits. Im sure these would look good with a bit of wool/tied rabbit fur.

Nice work. Those look just like the ones I have seen in the local shop.

What about using jig or streamer hooks to expose more hook
