all you need is monofilament line...thats all you'll ever need

what kind of reel are you wanting to put the line on to?

x2............not sure the reasoning on the braid "movement" in the past few years ???
-
no matter cause you're tying a fluoro leader right? Braid gives it the no stretch sensitivity but the mono leader gives it a bit of spring to set the hook without yanking it out of the mouth and that is clear

whatever you like better as well. Monofilament is nice. I use green mono on a smaller coho reel. My bigger c3 reel has green braid and I like the no memory and durability of it. Green seems to be the best color for the rivers here unless you like high visibility yellow and use a different leader.

newer or vintage? not that it makes too much of a difference, just don't line up and expect a vintage 6hm to be hauling in whites, for long.

yep, to me there are not enough benefits and a couple of cons but differant strokes......
