Title: Fishing in Deep Cove
Post by: Long_Cast on September 15, 2012, 08:59:29 PM
How is fishing at Deep Cove in North Vancouver?

Anyone here tried fishing at the dock or on the shoreline at Deep Cove Park?

Check the regs.  Lots of rock fish are banned. Deep Cove catches a lot of sewage from boats that empty their holding tanks in Indian Arm....so there's that. :-[

So I guess I'm saying it's not that good.  I'd follow Rod's advice and go to Belcarra or something.

From what I remember seeing, unfortunately there's no fishing signs all over the dock.

My understanding is that the fishing closure on the dock is only seasonal. I could be wrong as this information is several years old now.
