Hey guys need some help from one of you boating guys. Me and a friend are going to be heading out to try our luck in his boat around the mouth of the cap and are trying to find the best spot to launch from? i was told that the ambleside launch might be closed now? If this is so can anyone suggest another place?

Boat launch is still there. On really low tides you run out of ramp. Only 4 parking spots at the top of the boat launch for your vehicle and trailer. Don't know if you can still park down by the West Van police station in the tennis court area.
