Title: Help - Can you access the boat launch at Chilliwack before 8am??

Planning to go to Chilliwack Lake Friday early (6AM), but I read the park closes the gates until 8am.  Can you access the boat launch before 8am or is it behind the gates as well??

Tried to call, no answer.

The boat launch is behind the gate so if it's closed you won't be able to launch. For this reason there is no access to the lake in the winter and early spring. I'd love to fish the lake in the winter!
