Guide said that this fish is over 100 yrs old & assumes it has never been hooked before as it had no tag.

It's got one now.

These big sturgeon must really like the high volume river flows this yr & cooler Spring & Summer.

In the past when we had really hot sunny weather in the summer it seemed a few big sturgeon were found dead along the shore.

 Amazing!  What a cute couple too, glad they caught it and not some a-hole.  They seemed genuinely awed by the whole experience!
