Title: bowen island / horseshoe bay

hey there , just heading to to horseshoey bay , bowen island area today on the boat hoping to drop a line or two , just wondering what there is to catch out there this time of year ,
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

probably a few chinook around. some head up to the squamish system. dont fish there though

south end of bowen, bell bouy, and west van shorline should produce some salmon
bluebacks should be stacking infrot of the Cap. if you need more shelter maybe hole in the wall but i've never caught anything there.

or... if you have the Boat ,fuel and the time. you could try Hut Island on the northeast end of Bowen,
Trolling  coyotes spoons or dark hoochies behind hot spot flasher   at about 75ft feet should be a great place to start.Watch your sounder for bottom contours and look for feed stacks.

I think if can even drop a prawn or two now, after years of closures, I'm told you can do quite well.
