Title: Capilano River, July 3rd 2012
Post by: clujalolo on July 03, 2012, 01:01:35 PM
Fished today the mouth of the cap, below the train bridge. Got there early, no one else in that area where i was.
I landed one coho, which was after about 5 casts. Landed the fish, picked him up, and i dropped him right back into the river. Pretty frustrating. I only saw 1 other fish jump from 6am-noon. Had one other bite around 10am but hook disnt set properly.

Probably gonna go again in 2 weeks or so.

Well fishing was on and off today on The Cap. But one thing  there was plenty of is garbage left by anglers ! I even witnessed a loud mouthed angler  who was dictating fishing regs and river etiquette  at nauseum ,who after  going home, left his beer cans and roe container behind !!  ::) ::)
