Decided to take another round out at Stave Lake today but had no takers . The sounder was showing them down 80 to 120 feet, to deep where I couldn't reach . I have a downrigger but didn't pack it . Last year at this time I didn't need one . I seem to do just fine with spoon casting or trolling the spoons . The fish were up in the top 40 to 5 feet of water last year . Today they were all hugging the bottom . The lake is pretty high and cold so maybe there in a warmer place down there :P . Still nice to get out . The float planes were a bit of other entertainment today bouncing in and out of the drink :D . Cheers
