A group of us has a charter planned in Tofino in mid July during a family vacation. It will be our first time in Tofino. This is very motivating for me. Thanks for posting.

In the 70's I spent several summers in Tofino collecting catch data and scale samples of sockeye from commercial trollers, in town and Ucluelet.  It was spectacular then, scenic and full of unique people who really didn't care much for the norms of society, at least the society I was used to.  I learned a lot from them.
The Maquinna Hotel, Tonquin Park, a nudist beach then, and the Legion. Great memories but here's one aquapaloosa I bet you can't beat - 28 days straight without rain!  Morning fog, yeah, that's  a given but the afternoons and evenings were awesome on Long Beach ;)

jacked55, you will love it!

Sorry Chris, those would most likely be hatchery chinook bound for the Columbia River.
