I always like to see, and i have check it a few times and no data is should start 1 April?

Started a few days ago, 1 chinook recorded. Not sure why it did not start earlier as always stated April 1 or sooner. Was it because they did not want to intercept the early run fish because they say they are in trouble or cut backs from FOC are already hitting home. :-\
Without this test fishery how can they get some idea what the run size is? From what I hear stock assessment on the fish's natal streams is not done like it was at one time, maybe they have to use the money for aquaculture. ::)

I've asked this question before but was never convinced...:
What is the method of catching the fish - by gill net or seine or?
And what do they do when they intercept wild steelhead and the like?

As I posted above the reason Albion was delayed was due to lack of funding as well as the timing of when funding was approved. ::)
