I didn't know Chris captures fish for the "broomstick" program ;D

What the heck... Stupid autocorrect on these Apple products... I've already changed two other mistakes, including "busy month" instead of "busy money". :-\

Too bad, I liked the sound of the broomstick program. Reminds me of Harry Potter :D hmm...A hogwarts hatchery?

Writing at 1 in the morning can do that too you especially after a day on the river, wish I had continued to tag along and recorded the action on my video camera.

Thanks for shairing a nice experience

Influenza and pneumonia.....wow that has to take a toll on you. I am sure your luck will improve, as the season progresses. And for those headed out this weekend, looks to be a sunny and warm one.

Nice read rod.at least you did get a fish to the beach. I was out today for my third trip of the season.so far every outing I have hooked one fish and landed none!! :'(
-
that allright i have easily fished 45+ trips and only beached 5 wild fish. hooked and lost 1 identifiable hatch. about 150-200 solid hours of fishing and just one picture.
living about 10 min from the river ( on a pedal bike ) 3 trips and 1 fish is so much better than my odds. friends of mine have alreay limited out on 10 hatch this year. My roe must suck.

Great read Rodney... glad you got into one. I hear Chris got a nice wild today as well? I was slaving away at work... got one more day left the I'll get back out there. Might even sneak out to the river by 3:30 tomorrow if I can get my work done in time..haha :D

Thanks for the report Rod and sorry to hear you didn't catch one to take home with you. And then another angler after just a couple casts catches one in the same spot and Bingo, Bango el Presto has a hatch to take home, lol. Isn't that the way sometimes.
Thanks for the great report though, very descriptive almost Gadsenish. :D ;) :D

Your friend must be dmw! :D
I agree that one fish in three outings is great.it took me 5seasons to get one fish hooked and landed.I averaged 10 trips per season during that time. I am just disappointed in myself as I have never hooked 3 steel in 3 trips and couldn't beach any!I need to refine my hook set maybe :-\ what an amazing february day to be out tho! ;D

And the fly fishing is only going to get better!
