Title: Environmental school
Post by: Geff_t on January 11, 2012, 09:28:41 PM
This is a great way to educate our youth. My son has been a part of this school since it first started in September and now he absolutly loves to go to school.
The best part was when they where close to a body of water that had fish in it and it was legal for them, they could fish at recess and lunch. Now how cool is that  ;D
Read on and learn more about what they do.

Yes, a great program.  Langley had a similar program but our "environmental" school here was closed when the Board reconfigured the district to save money.

We are pretty lucky here, well so far, we got funding for 5 years. After that well lets hope they have proven that it truly is better then being within the 4 walls of a classroom.
