Fished the Sack both days...water was perfect with about 3 feet of vis. Not too many fisherman about. There were many more Eagle watchers. I saw hundreds of eagles perched in the trees and down on the gravel bars. as far the fishing goes...no steel for me.Did get into a number of chums, one of which was very fresh and gave me an awesome fight. Also got a bull trout and a couple of whitefish. Did not see any steelhead and never heard of any caught....there's always next weekend!

I went for a drive with the wife yesterday up to Mt Baker and the river looked excellent.
Looking for a Nooksack steelie? Usually easier to catch a unicorn. ;)
Good luck up there
