Went up to the Squamish just looking for a nice relaxing drive and a bit of exploring/hiking.
Thankfully I had my rod in my backpack because I came to a hole that had more coho then I've seen in one spot all year. This was a surprise to me to see so many fish :o
I spent about 3 hours fishing and the cohos loved the twisty tails jigs.

NIce work! Thats always a nice surprise. I got one from the squamish last year dec 28th or 29th and it was very silver still too.

Wow, nice catch this time of year. ;D

The jigs were fished with an up and down action (jigging)
I got a PM requesting some information but I cannot PM back so try again with an email addy.

With a float or without?

No float just a a jig tied to the mainline. Also not fishing the main current but some nice deep backeddies/pools.

coho love bunny jigs fishwed in a twitching method. All colors work well but top ones usually are pink followed by purple then black. Had a good season at squamish fishing these things
