Hey guys
Over on the Island Courtenay area doing the holiday visit and have a day to go fishing tomorrow I was planning on heading to the Stamp but I have heard how beautiful gold river is . My question is: Taking into account the travel time to gold river, would you recommend going with no knowledge of the area^ would i just spend the day looking for the river instead of fishing^ not looking for gps or exact spots just some guidance or areas around my location would be awesome. feel free to shoot me email or pm if need thanks guys!!

Hey guys
Thanks to awurban and the carp for the guidance! We took carps advice and head to the stamp, great decision. Hooked into ten fish over the day and landed four hatchery does 2 five-six pounders and 2 12+ pounders. Stay tuned for fishing report and pictures when I return home!
